I have extensive experience of working with Care Experienced children and young people, foster carers, adoptive parents and families, and their wider networks. In this area of my consultation work, I support professionals to reflect on the emotional dynamics and relational challenges that these children and families may encounter. This consultation is relevant to a wide range of professionals, including counsellors, therapists, teachers, healthcare workers, social workers, and practitioners in the third sector.
I offer consultation to both teams in statutory and third sector organisations and to individual professionals across a variety of settings. Thinking together about the emotional and relational aspects of children and young people's lives can be helpful when working with those who have experienced complex and traumatic backgrounds. It can provide insight into the deeper meaning behind a child's behaviour and emotional responses, helping to strengthen understanding and support.

I provide an open-minded, non-judgemental reflective space in which to think about your work and working life. I can provide supervision to psychodynamic counsellors/therapists or other counsellors/therapists working therapeutically (privately, or in public services), with children, adolescents, parents/carers and adults. Supervision is usually established as a regular and ongoing arrangement, but there is also scope for clinical consultations on a less frequent or short-term basis.
I can offer a range of bespoke training and workshops to meet your organisation’s needs.
